Italy's first Trusted Flagger under the DSA

On 22 January 2025 the Board of AGCOM, Italy's Digital Services Coordinator, designated Argo Business Solutions a Trusted Flagger under Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act, by Resolution 26/25/CONS: the first such designation in Italy.

Trusted flaggers are entities with particular expertise in detecting, identifying and notifying illegal content online, independent from online platforms and able to work diligently, accurately and objectively. Platforms must treat their notices with priority, while the decision to remove content always remains with the platform providers. The status is valid across the European Union.

Argo's role covers intellectual property and commercial rights infringements, scams and digital fraud. You can verify the designation in the official list published by the European Commission; the news was also covered by Il Sole 24 Ore.
