TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

The data collected by this website are provided voluntarily by the user (“User”) through the contact form and the compliance questionnaire forms, and are listed below: First and Last Name, Company, E-mail, Message, and any other contact details.

The data will be processed by electronic means for the following purposes:

to respond to requests sent through the contact form and to handle compliance questionnaires (legal basis: performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

LEGAL BASIS

The provision of data is mandatory for everything required by contractual or pre-contractual obligations, and therefore any refusal to provide them, in whole or in part, may make it impossible to provide the requested services.

The legal basis for the processing of data through cookies is the consent of the data subject (freely given and revocable at any time as described in the cookie policy).

DATA RETENTION

The Data provided by the Data Subject will be processed for a period based on the following criterion: the retention obligation depends on the existence of a commercial relationship with the customer and on the provisions governing the retention of accounting and tax data. The Italian Civil Code requires correspondence of legal and commercial content and relevance to be kept for 10 years. The remaining messages (which have no legal or commercial relevance) will be kept for 12 months.

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS

The Data will be processed, to the extent necessary, by the Controller’s authorized personnel, duly instructed and trained, as well as by the personnel of third parties that provide services to the Controller and process Data on its behalf and under its instructions as data processors. Without prejudice to disclosures made in compliance with legal and contractual obligations, all data collected and processed may be disclosed, exclusively for the purposes specified above, to the following categories of recipients:

Consultants and independent professionals, including professional firms;
IT service providers.

The Controller may transfer the User's data to countries outside the European Union. The Data will be transferred exclusively to countries deemed adequate by the European Commission or to companies that provide the safeguards required by Articles 44 – 50 of the GDPR.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

With regard to the processing of data described herein, the Data Subject may exercise the rights provided by the GDPR (Articles 15-22), including:

to obtain confirmation of the existence of the Data and access their content (right of access);
to update, amend and/or correct the Data (right to rectification);
to request the erasure or restriction of the processing of Data processed in breach of the law, including Data whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the Data were collected or otherwise processed (right to erasure and right to restriction);
to object to the processing (right to object);
to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority, www.garanteprivacy.it) in the event of a breach of data protection legislation;
to receive a copy in electronic format of the Data concerning them as Data Subject, where such Data have been provided in the context of the contract, and to request that such Data be transmitted to another data controller (right to data portability).
